Nestled in the rolling hills of the Cardrona Valley, the Cardrona Hotel, established in 1863, is one of New Zealand’s oldest hotels. A comfortable 40 minute drive from Queenstown and 20 minutes from Wanaka, this hotel offers a unique place for your intimate wedding celebrations.
The Hotel has long been a popular venue for weddings. With its historical location and structures within the Hotel grounds, many a couple have exchanged their vows in the spacious gardens.
The venue has the capacity for up to 80-85 people seated indoors, or room to erect a marquee in the gardens for numbers up to 150. The Hotel has 16 ensuite rooms with delightful cottage garden views that can accommodate up to 44 people. We have the ability to source nearby accommodation in the Cardrona Valley if required, with the newly-opened Benbrae resort located 400 metres from the Hotel and the Cardrona Chalets. |
We have a range of menu options to meet all possible needs, from simple BBQ to buffet and set menus. We offer a comprehensive wine list along with full bar facilities.
Our own in-house function manager can help co-ordinate your special day, with personal attention to detail and network of local support services they will ensure your wedding is a truly memorable day.
